Apprentice Furniture Finisher
We are seeking an Apprentice Furniture Finisher to join our team.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a team environment
- Understand and abide by workplace health and safety regulations

Cabinet Making Apprentice
We are seeking a Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our team. The selected candidate will undertake a Certificate III in Cabinet Making whilst receiving high-quality, hands-on learning experiences with Flat Packs WA. The ideal candidate is keen to learn, highly motivated and committed to completing their apprenticeship.
Whilst we are searching for a re-commencing apprentice, we are also open to taking on a first year, provided the candidate is the right fit for the business and the role.
This is a full-time apprenticeship. All ages are encouraged to apply!
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in Cabinet Making
- Display a willingness to learn, take direction and develop skills
- Be able to learn quickly and confidently
- Possess a good eye for detail and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Be physically fit due to the amount of manual handling involved in the role
- Be punctual, reliable, and hard working
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a team environment
- Hold a current WA drivers license and reliable vehicle (desirable)

Furniture Finisher/Spray Painter
We require a fulltime experienced Furniture Finisher/Spray painter to join our team.
The role involves a variety of work including but not limited to:
- Remove surface coatings.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Maintain spray equipment and booth.
- Apply stains, fillers and bleach.
- Match and make up colours.
- Apply plural component coatings.
- Repair and touch up surfaces.
- Set up, operate and maintain mechanical coatings systems.
- Enhance finishes.
- Apply graining and decorative finishes.
- Select and apply hardware.
- Apply cost factors to work practices.
Flexible work arrangements and regular overtime is available to the right candidate.

The role involves a variety of work including but not limited to:
- Interpreting kitchen drawings/plans to provide our clients a quote and into a workable kitchen/cabinetry design using Cabinet Vision.
- Providing clear and concise drawings of kitchens and joinery.
- Communicating with clients on their projects along with other team members in order to finalise the project.
- Nesting the project onto the CNC machine using Cabinet Vision.
The successful candidate will the following:
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of Jobman programme would be an
- advantage but training will be given
- Drivers Licence required
- Forklift Licence would be an advantage

You should have a detailed-oriented approach and the skill to offer high-quality products. To fulfill the job requirements, you should be physically fit and have decent years of experience in cabinet making. Your willingness to work for long and flexible hours will also be advantageous.
